Use the Toolbar or the Language menu (as well as the F7 accelerator) menu to spell check the current field/control and, if there are unknown words, show the Spelling Correction dialog box. This box is also displayed for each key content field with an unknown word when you Spell Check Record. |
This screen allows you ignore the word, type in a replacement, choose a suggested word, and more. Clicking the Cancel button closes the dialog box. If you click Cancel when using Spell Check Record, no further fields are checked. Look at the screen below as well as the table of elements to learn more.

This is the unknown word. You may correct it in this field and click the Change (this instance only) or Change All (all instances) button if desired. |

Suggestions |
Check this box to display suggested corrections. Select one of the words and click the Change (this instance only) or Change All (all instances) button to update the content. |

Add Words To |
This is enabled if you have defined one or more Custom Dictionaries on the Language Options screen. The selected dictionary on that screen will be the default in this drop-down list. Clicking the Add button will add the current word to the selected custom dictionary. |

Ignore |
Ignore the word this time only. |
|
Ignore All |
Ignore this word for the remainder of the session. |

Add |
Add this word to the selected custom dictionary. This is only enabled if you have defined one or more Custom Dictionaries on the Language Options screen. |

Change |
Change the current instance only to either the revised spelling in the Not in Dictionary field or to the selected suggestion. |
|
Change All |
Change all instances to either the revised spelling in the Not in Dictionary field or to the selected suggestion. |
|
Cancel |
Closes the Spelling Correction dialog box. If you click Cancel when using Spell Check Record, no further fields are checked. |
