Objectives Editor

Use the Toolbar or the Actions menu to bring up a dialog box for adding, editing, or deleting objectives. |
This screen is where you add, edit, or delete objectives.
You
can also select an objective and click the Questions button to associate
questions with that objective.
The
Objective Name does not allow spaces (the editor will prompt you to remove them if they are included)
and the Objective Number must be unique across objectives.

Sort Objective By |
Choose whether to sort objectives by name (alphabetically) or objective number. |

Objectives List |
The sorted list of current objectives. Select an objective to edit its properties, copy it (from the Add button), or delete it. |

Questions |
Click this button to Associate Questions with the Selected Objective. |

Splitter |
Drag the dark grey vertical bar to the right of the Objectives List to increase or decrease the available space. Note that you may resize or maximize the entire dialog box if desired. |

Objective Name |
The name of the objective. There are no spaces allowed in order to conform to SCORM specifications when running from a learning management system. See http://www.adlnet.org for more information on SCORM. |

Objective Number |
The objective number. Questions are assigned to the user based on this number. Note that two objectives may not have the same number. |

Objective Description |
The objective description. |

Add Blank Objective |
Add a blank objective. The name will show up in the Objectives List as [New Objective]. The objective number will be the first unused number starting from 1. |

Copy Selected Objective |
Copies the currently selected objective. The name will show up in the Objectives List as [New Objective]. The objective number will be the first unused number starting from 1. The description will be the same as the selected objective. |

Delete |
Click this button to delete the selected objective. |
