Use the Toolbar or the Publish menu to bring up a dialog box for 1) copying your current configuration as well as all exam files to a directory of your choosing, and 2) creating a virtual directory for testing your exam if desired. |
This screen is where you copy the exam files to a directory and, if desired, create a virtual directory. This latter capability requires that you be on a computer with Internet Information Services (IIS) installed such as Windows 2000 or XP Professional. See the IIS section of the VBTrain.Net book for details on installing IIS. You would use this screen after creating a New Exam or Opening an Existing Exam and then copying that configuration to a new directory. The files to be copied are located in the \files directory underneath the location of the Exam Engine Configuration program. Any changes made to files in that directory structure (for example the image files or examenginestyles.css) will be reflected in any exams published from then on. When you click the OK button and have entered a virtual directory name, you are given the option to view the exam. You can do this later as well via the Browse Virtual Directory option. Look at the screen below as well as the table of elements to learn more.
