Use the Toolbar or the Edit menu to bring up a dialog box for configuring the general properties of your exam. |
This screen is where you decide whether to use SCORM (for communicating with a learning management system), define Exam Engine Editor login information, position interface buttons and labels, configure an introduction page, customize "required to answer" messages, determine the number of questions per objective, set up the emailing of results if desired, and determine time out information. Look at the screen below as well as the table of elements to learn more. Click on the other tabs to learn about each one.

Use SCORM |
Check this box to generate the SCORM Runtime Environment JavaScript. You may change this with the useSCORM query string parameter. For example, the query string "?useSCORM=True" means to run the exam with SCORM. |

Use Dynamic Styles |
Check this box to have Exam Engine generate Question, Answers, and other styles rather than tying them to a custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) file. You may edit the styles in the Styles Editor. |

'Exam Engine Editor' User Name |
User name for adding, editing, or deleting questions and objectives via the Exam Engine Editor. |

'Exam Engine Editor' Password |
Password for adding, editing, or deleting questions and objectives via the Exam Engine Editor. |

External Style Sheet |
Name (and path/URL if relevant) of the external CSS file to use with Exam Engine. |
